Football Recap: Saturday's Defeat Ends St. John's Winning Streak

After flying high against St. Michael the Archangel two weeks ago, St. John came back down to earth. The Cadets took a 17-13 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Our Lady of Good Counsel Falcons on Saturday. The contest marked the Cadets' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

The critical scores for Our Lady of Good Counsel came from Kobe Ellis and Corey Smith.

St. John's moved to 5-2 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak. As for Our Lady of Good Counsel, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.
