Norwalk had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They didn't even let the Platt Panthers on the board on Saturday, marking the Bears' second-straight 1-0 shutout. The Bears' pitching crew has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a run in their last four matches.

Norwalk has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 29-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average over those games. As for Platt, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 18-8.

Looking ahead, Norwalk will head out to challenge South Windsor at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Platt does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
