West Lincoln is a perfect 10-0 against Amite County since March of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. West Lincoln will venture away from home to take on Amite County at 5:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (West Lincoln has three straight victories, Amite County has 20 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

West Lincoln proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by 12) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a run and slipped past Centreville Academy 8-7.

The team relied heavily on Korben Altman, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one stolen base and one RBI. What's more, he posted two hits, the most he's had since back in February. Another player making a difference was Aden Purvis, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, Amite County came up short against Tylertown last Tuesday, falling 14-4.

West Lincoln's win bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Amite County, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.

Everything went West Lincoln's way against Amite County in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, as West Lincoln made off with an 18-2 victory. Does West Lincoln have another victory up their sleeve, or will Amite County turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
