Basketball Recap: Prince RVT Takes a Loss

Prince RVT was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 81-71 to the Goodwin RVT Gladiators. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (62), the Falcons still had to take the loss.

When it comes to explaining why Prince RVT lost, don't look at Jordan Iverson. Despite the final result, he almost dropped a double-double on 38 points and nine boards. That was a full 53.5% of Prince RVT's points, marking the third time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Emmanuel Ikeh, who went 5 of 8 en route to 11 points and eight rebounds.

Even though they lost, Prince RVT smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds in three consecutive games.

Prince RVT's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Goodwin RVT, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
