Softball Recap: Butler Comes Up Short at Home Against Knoch

Butler unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Knoch Knights on Monday, falling 18-1. The Golden Tornado haven't had much luck with the Knights recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Butler saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kyra Olivares, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Coming up, Butler will welcome Mercer at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Knoch, they will head out on the road to take on Plum at 4:00 p.m. on March 19th.
