Softball Game Preview: Beech Buccaneers vs. Lebanon Blue Devils

The Beech Buccaneers will head out on the road to challenge the Lebanon Blue Devils at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Lebanon took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Beech, who comes in off a win.

On Thursday, Beech beat Hendersonville 6-3. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Buccaneers.

Meanwhile, while it was Lebanon who put the first points on the board on Thursday, it was Cookeville who put up more. Lebanon fell 11-8 to Cookeville.

Kyndall Robinson was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most hits she has posted over her last 12 contests. Another player making a difference was Teagan Fetcho, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4.

Beech's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Lebanon, their loss dropped their record down to 8-8.

Everything went Beech's way against Lebanon when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Beech made off with a 14-2 victory. Will Beech repeat their success, or does Lebanon has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
