Football Game Preview: Berkeley Yellowjackets vs. Tennyson Lancers + How To Watch

The Berkeley Yellowjackets will head out on the road to square off against the Tennyson Lancers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Berkeley has given up an average of 39.1 points per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Berkeley came into this matchup off a tough 43-point defeat on October 10th. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Castro Valley by a score of 41-38 last Friday. The Yellowjackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from CHRISTOPHER DEVITO, who threw for 222 yards and four TDs. Berkeley's leading receiver DAILEN CLARK was DEVITO's top target yet again, picking up 108 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Meanwhile, Tennyson came up short against Castro Valley on Friday and fell 42-35. The Lancers haven't had much luck with the Trojans recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Berkeley's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Tennyson, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

Everything went Berkeley's way against Tennyson in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, as Berkeley made off with a 29-6 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Yellowjackets since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
