Baseball Recap: Warrensburg-Latham Takes a Loss

Warrensburg-Latham lost against Mt. Pulaski back in May of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Cardinals lost 16-4 to the Hilltoppers.

Eastyn McKenzie was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

Warrensburg-Latham's defeat dropped their record down to 23-6. As for Mt. Pulaski, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 20-5.

Coming up, Warrensburg-Latham will be playing in front of their home fans against MacArthur at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Mt. Pulaski, they will head out to take on Monticello at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Hilltoppers 3, the Sages 2.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.
