Basketball Recap: W.E.B. DuBois Academy Takes a Loss

On Saturday, the W.E.B. DuBois Academy Lions were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 67-61 to the Oldham County Colonels. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (58), the Lions still had to take the loss.

W.E.B. DuBois Academy has traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season. As for Oldham County, their win bumped their record up to 6-13.

W.E.B. DuBois Academy will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Western on Tuesday. As for Oldham County, they will welcome Christian Educational Consortium at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Oldham County's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matches.
