Football Recap: Creighton Prep Skates Past Lincoln Southeast with Ease

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Creighton Prep walked away with it. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Lincoln Southeast Knights 31-3. The Junior Jays haven't had any issues with the Knights recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Angelo Wallker had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 212 yards and three scores while picking up 9.6 yards per carry. Those 212 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

Creighton Prep didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Lincoln Southeast to a completion percentage of just 46.4%. The team can thank Vincent Sall for the heroic effort on defense: he. Sadly, that's becoming something of a trend for Creighton Prep; they were averaging 59.5%completion percentage earlier this season, but in their last three contests they've fallen to only 59.5%.

Creighton Prep's record is now 9-1. As for Lincoln Southeast, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-5.

Looking ahead, Creighton Prep will face off against Lincoln East at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Spartans' defense has only allowed 13.7 points per game this season, so the Junior Jays' offense will have their work cut out for them. Lincoln Southeast does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
