Basketball Game Preview: Pocatello Thunder vs. Eagle Mustangs

Pocatello is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Westlake just ended the team's 12-game winning streak dating back to last season on Thursday. They opened the new year with a less-than-successful 65-52 defeat to the Thunder. The loss put an end to Pocatello's undefeated start to the season.

Meanwhile, Eagle faced Middleton in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The match between Eagle and Middleton didn't end well, with Eagle falling 56-37. The loss continues a trend for the Mustangs in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now lost three in a row.

Having lost for the first time this season, Pocatello fell to 11-1. As for Eagle, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-2.
