Baseball Recap: Saratoga Takes a Loss

Saratoga fell victim to Santa Clara and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 9-0 to the Bruins. The defeat continues a trend for the Falcons in their meetings with the Bruins: they've now lost seven in a row.

Saratoga's loss dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Santa Clara, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 17 of their last 18 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-3 record this season.

Coincidentally, Saratoga and Santa Clara will both be playing Cupertino the next time they take the field. The Falcons will host the Pioneers at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Bruins will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
