Baseball Recap: Hancock County Takes a Loss

Hancock County fell victim to Muhlenberg County and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Mustangs, falling 13-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Hornets in their meetings with the Mustangs: they've now lost four in a row.

Hancock County saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carson Clark, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Hancock County's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Muhlenberg County, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hancock County will venture away from home to square off against Middlesboro at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Muhlenberg County, they will head out to face off against McLean County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
