Basketball Recap: Jackson Houser's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Tabb over York

Tabb was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 56-54 heartbreaker at the hands of the York Falcons. The Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Falcons earlier this season, when they won 67-36.

Several Tigers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jackson Houser, who posted 14 points. Another player making a difference was Micah Marbra, who almost dropped a double-double with 15 points and nine boards.

Even though they lost, Tabb was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their assist total in three consecutive matches.

Tabb's loss dropped their record down to 3-16. As for York, their victory ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-14.

Tabb didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 64-32 defeat against Lafayette on the 14th. As for York, they have also already played their next contest, a 55-53 win against Grafton on the 14th.
