Softball Recap: Bucktail Bucks vs. Greenwood Wildcats
Bucktail had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They skirted past the Greenwood Wildcats 3-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bucks.
Kendall Wagner was excellent, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in April.
Bucktail's win bumped their record up to 17-4. As for Greenwood, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.
Bucktail will square off against Tri-Valley on Thursday. The Bucks' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bulldogs have averaged an impressive 9.3 runs per game this season. Greenwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
