Softball Recap: Hartland Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

After flying high against Belleville last Monday, Hartland came back down to earth. The Eagles fell 6-3 to the Clio Mustangs on Tuesday.

Skylar Spisz made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Lucy Nelson also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.

Hartland's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-9-1. As for Clio, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-7 record this season.

Hartland will welcome Linden at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Linden's pitching crew has only allowed 2.9 runs per game this season, so Hartland's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Clio, they will face off against Grand Blanc at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
