Volleyball Recap: Hilltop Takes a Loss

Hilltop was the 3-1 winner over Edon when they last played one another back in August, but their luck changed this time around. The Cadets lost 3-0 to the Bombers on Thursday. The Cadets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-13, 25-23.

When it comes to explaining why Hilltop lost, don't look at Brooklyn Kuszmaul. Despite the final result, she had 13 digs and two aces. Kuszmaul has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last eight times she's played.

Edon was led to victory by Avery Aldrich and Ella Osborn. Aldrich had 14 digs and one assist, while Osborn had eight digs and one assist.

Hilltop's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Edon, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-3.

Hilltop wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Toledo Christian on the 20th. As for Edon, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Delta on the 20th.
