Huron faced Sturgis Brown in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Tigers enjoyed a cozy 33-16 win over the Scoopers. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Scoopers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Anderson Porisch had a dynamite game, rushing for 109 yards and two touchdowns, while also throwing for 178 yards and a pair of TDs. Landon Hulst was another key player, rushing for 138 yards and one score.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Huron was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 253 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Huron's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Sturgis Brown, their defeat was their first of the season and also makes their record 3-1.
