Softball Recap: Quitman Takes a Loss

Quitman fell victim to Malakoff and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 12-0 to the Malakoff Tigers. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Bulldogs were not able to get on the board.

This is the second loss in a row for Quitman and nudges their season record down to 3-7. As for Malakoff, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-5-1.

Quitman has already played their next contest, an 18-2 defeat against Grand Saline on the 14th. As for Malakoff, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 10-8 win against Mineola on the 14th.
