Soccer Game Preview: Tri-Valley vs. Tamaqua

The Tri-Valley Bulldogs will square off against the Tamaqua Blue Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Tri-Valley had been on a four-game streak of scoring at least four goals, but Minersville put an end to it on Tuesday. The Bulldogs came up short against the Battlin' Miners, falling 3-0. Tri-Valley's defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, Tamaqua didn't have quite enough to beat Pottsville on Tuesday and fell 3-2. Tamaqua have struggled against Pottsville recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Tamaqua's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Tri-Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-6.
