Football Game Preview: Cascade Kodiaks vs. Omak Pioneers

For the first time this season, Cascade will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will head out on the road to take on the Omak Pioneers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Cascade's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Medical Lake 41-0. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Kodiaks just coasted through the last quarter.

Meanwhile, Omak waltzed into their matchup on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They really took it to the Mountain Goats for the full four quarters, racking up a 63-22 win. Considering the Pioneers have won four contests by more than 30 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Omak's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Cascade, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Cascade was dealt a bruising 40-9 defeat at the hands of Omak in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Kodiaks avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
