Volleyball Recap: King's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

King can bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Refugio Bobcats. That's more bragging rights for the Brahmas, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

King never let Refugio on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-20.

Refugio lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Cedie Wills, who had 12 digs, two aces, and one block. Another player making a difference was Ja'Zae-Lynne Lewis, who had ten digs and one block.
