It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Arbor View can now relate to. They came up short against the Coronado Cougars on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Aggies' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-18, 25-14.

Arbor View's offense was headlined by Eric Veith and Jonah Gray, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from David Haldeman and his 20 assists. Finally, Owen Wenger and Kenyon Wickliffe kept the team grounded on defense, each having blocked two attacks.

Arbor View's loss dropped their record down to 21-17. As for Coronado, their win was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 37-2.

Arbor View does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Coronado, they will face off against Palo Verde at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Cougars surely won't give up without a fight.
