Basketball Recap: Crawford County Takes a Loss

Crawford County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 41-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Central Hawks. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 33-28 back in January.

Despite the defeat, Crawford County saw an underclassman step up: freshman Kamarli McGuire posted 18 points and four steals. The dominant performance gave McGuire a new career-high in points. Aaliyah Stallion was another key player, putting up six points in addition to seven boards and four blocks.

Crawford County's loss dropped their record down to 4-18. As for Central, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-12.

As of now, neither Crawford County nor Central have any future games scheduled.
