Football Recap: Central Lake Starts off Right with Win over Marion

Central Lake gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They managed a 44-38 win over the Marion Eagles. This was payback for the Trojans, who suffered a 64-6 loss the last time these two teams met.

Central Lake and Marion will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Trojans are set to face off against their familiar foe St. Mary Cathedral at 7:00 p.m. on September 5. Meanwhile, Marion will square off against rival Onekama at 7:00 p.m. on September 5.
