Softball Recap: Hialeah Educational Academy Comes Up Short

After flying high against Sports Leadership & Management on Wednesday, Hialeah Educational Academy came back down to earth. The Biggie came up short against the Somerset Academy South Homestead Hurricanes on Monday, falling 22-1. The Biggie haven't had much luck with the Hurricanes recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Hialeah Educational Academy now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Somerset Academy South Homestead, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2.

Coming up, Hialeah Educational Academy will take on Mater Academy Charter at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Somerset Academy South Homestead, they will square off against Varela at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
