Basketball Game Preview: South Sevier Rams vs. North Summit Braves

The South Sevier Rams and the North Summit Braves will face off at 9:10 p.m. on Friday without much rest, having both just played. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as South Sevier comes in on seven and North Summit on four.

South Sevier is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They blew past Draper APA 70-47. The Rams have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, North Summit hadn't done well against Enterprise recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. North Summit came out on top against Enterprise by a score of 51-41.

South Sevier pushed their record up to 21-4 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.6 points over those games. As for North Summit, their win bumped their record up to 20-4.

South Sevier was able to grind out a solid victory over North Summit in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, winning 57-47. Does South Sevier have another victory up their sleeve, or will North Summit turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
