It's playoff time, and Cathedral Catholic had no trouble coming through when it counted. They never let the Santa Fe Christian Eagles get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory on Wednesday. The win was nothing new for the Dons as they're now sitting on five straight.

The result came thanks to Levi Uslander's shutout, as he gave up just six hits and racked up eight Ks.

At the plate, Alex Harrington was excellent, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Diezel Hernandez, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run.

Cathedral Catholic pushed their record up to 18-10 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Santa Fe Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-14.

As of now, neither Cathedral Catholic nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
