 Meanwhile, Port St. Lucie came up short against Tradition Prep on Friday and fell  10-5.
 Melbourne Central Catholic pushed their record up to 5-1 with the  victory, which was their fourth straight  on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs over those games. As for Port St. Lucie, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.
