It was a good run, but Sierra Canyon unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Redondo Union Sea Hawks. The game marked the first time this year in which the Trailblazers were not able to get on the board.

Their offense was headlined by Hanna McGinest and Eva Jeffries, who picked up 11 kills apiece. They got some help from Lucky Fasavalu and her 19 assists.

Sierra Canyon's loss dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Redondo Union, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Sierra Canyon will take on JSerra Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Redondo Union, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Byron Nelson on the 16th.
