Basketball Recap: North Mahaska Skates Past Baxter with Ease

North Mahaska waltzed into their match on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Baxter 59-27. Given the Warhawks' advantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 41st, while Baxter are ranked 202nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

North Mahaska's record now sits at 11-1. As for Baxter, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.

North Mahaska didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 66-26 victory against Keota on the 14th. As for Baxter, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 50-27 win against Colo-NESCO on the 14th.
