Volleyball Recap: Whitmire Takes a Loss

Whitmire had to start their season on the road on Saturday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell 2-0 to the Laurens Academy Crusaders.

The victory (which was Laurens Academy's 14th in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 3-0.

Laurens Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Pelion on the 16th. Hopefully Whitmire paid attention to the Crusaders' match: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Crusaders at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
