Atchison won the last time they faced Highland Park and things went their way on Monday too. The Phoenix came out on top against the Scots by a score of 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Phoenix.

Atchison had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-15, 25-19, 25-22.

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 7-14-4. As for Highland Park, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 9-10-1.

Atchison wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 0-0 draw against Harmon on the 7th. As for Highland Park, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Schlagle on the 9th.
