Football Recap: Hollins Royals vs. Seminole Warhawks
Hollins won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a 44-7 loss at the hands of the Seminole Warhawks. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Royals of the 62-21 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.
Mason Starke was his usual excellent self, rushing for 103 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries, while also catching a touchdown for Seminole. Starke also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making six total tackles and defending two passes.
Hollins' defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Seminole, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-2.
As of now, neither Hollins nor Seminole have any future games scheduled.
