Basketball Game Preview: Pardeeville Bulldogs vs. Oakfield Oaks

The Pardeeville Bulldogs will venture away from home to face off against the Oakfield Oaks at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.

Pardeeville is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Westfield Area just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Monday. They were outmatched by the Pioneers and fell 69-40. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Bulldogs have suffered since January 15, 2024.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Oakfield). They came out on top against Living Word Lutheran by a score of 82-72 on Monday.

Oakfield has also been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.8 points per game. As for Pardeeville, their loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 11-2.

Pardeeville came up short against Oakfield in their previous meeting back in January of 2023, falling 49-36. Can Pardeeville avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
