It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Daingerfield can now relate to. They were outmatched by the Woodville Eagles and fell 40-7. The Tigers' loss signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Chase Johnson threw for 149 yards on ten of 17 attempts. Mason Williams was his top target, picking up 50 receiving yards.

Daingerfield's defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-6. As for Woodville, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-2.

Daingerfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Woodville, they are taking a road trip to take on Tidehaven at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Woodville knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 31 points or more in their past seven games -- so hopefully Tidehaven likes a good challenge.
