Volleyball Recap: Fairfield Comes Up Short

Fairfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Pretty Prairie Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 last Tuesday.

While Fairfield ultimately came up short, they really made Pretty Prairie work, particularly in the first set. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-11.

Fairfield's loss dropped their record down to 7-19. As for Pretty Prairie, their win bumped their record up to 14-17.

Fairfield didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against South Barber on the 11th. As for Pretty Prairie, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Skyline on the 11th.
