Volleyball Recap: Hauppauge's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Hauppauge came tearing into Friday's matchup with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Comsewogue Warriors. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Hauppauge had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-14, 25-14, 25-15.

Their offense was headlined by Peyton Kulesa and Katelyn Oliveto, who picked up 14 kills apiece. They got some help from Jenna Gennari and her 30 assists. Khloe Collins controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Hauppauge's win bumped their record up to 13-4. As for Comsewogue, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Hauppauge is set to square off against their familiar foe West Islip at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Comsewogue will face off against rival Smithtown West at 5:45 p.m. on the 20th.
