Football Recap: Jordan Bulldogs vs. Crenshaw Cougars        
        
		
             Jordan was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Monday as the team picked up their 17th straight  loss  dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a   37-6 loss at the hands of the Crenshaw Cougars. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' California football rankings  (they are ranked 635th, while the Cougars are ranked 139th).
 Crenshaw's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Talita Robinson, who threw for 277 yards and two touchdowns while completing 77.3% of her passes, and also rushed for 31 yards. Robinson also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D,  making two total tackles and defending two passes.  Cheyenne Hickman was another key rusher, rushing for 112 yards and a touchdown on only six carries.
 Jordan's defeat dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Crenshaw, their win was  their ninth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 14-4-1.
 Coincidentally,  the two teams will both be playing King/Drew the next time they take the field. Crenshaw will  host King/Drew at 3:45  p.m.  on Monday, while Jordan will play them later in the day, at 2:30  p.m.
