Westfall is still undefeated this season after their contest against Piketon on Friday, but Piketon came as close as anyone has to beating them. The Mustangs had just enough and edged out the Redstreaks 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Mustangs have posted against the Redstreaks since April 27, 2018.

Westfall got a great performance from Noah Stonerock as he struck out 13 batters over 7.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off ten hits (and not a single walk).

At the plate, Westfall saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was AJ Pluta, who went 2-for-5 with one stolen base and two RBI. Another was Rick Hanley, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.

Westfall's record now sits at 6-0. As for Piketon, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-3.

Coming up, Westfall will head out on the road to take on Miami Trace at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Piketon, they will host Wellston at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
