Soccer Game Preview: Dixon vs. New Hanover

The Dixon Bulldogs will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge the New Hanover Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Dixon will be strutting in after a victory while New Hanover will be coming in after a defeat.

Dixon barely beat Clinton the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Dixon's defense stepped up to hand Clinton a 3-0 shutout on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

Lily Getman and Emma Davis scored all three of Dixon's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

Meanwhile, New Hanover lost 4-1 to Coastal Christian last Tuesday. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The win got Dixon back to even at 2-2-1. As for New Hanover, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
