On Tuesday, Chowchilla got the W thanks in part to Zayne Smith playing the best basketball he has all season. Smith went 7 for 11 from beyond the arc on his way to 33 points and five rebounds, good enough to set a new career-high in points in the process. He is becoming a predictor of Chowchilla's success: when he posts at least 20 points the team is undefeated (and 11-12 when he doesn't).
