Volleyball Recap: Apex Beats Wake Forest for Their Fourth Straight Victory + How To Watch

Apex had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They came out on top against Wake Forest by a score of 3-1.

In the three sets Apex was on fire: they won each by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-11, 26-28, 25-11.

Leading Apex to victory were Rylee Moyer and Katie Raymer. Moyer had seven digs and seven aces, while Raymer had 13 digs and three aces. Those seven aces gave Moyer a new career-high. Paola Quirez was another key player, getting 15 assists and three digs.

Apex's victory bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Wake Forest, they dropped their record down to 3-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Apex will head out to take on Green Level at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wake Forest, they will venture away from home to square off against Enloe at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
