There's no place like home for Union County, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They escaped with a win on Tuesday against the Randolph Southern Rebels by the margin of a single free throw, 47-46. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Patriots also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Union County was led to victory by Grady Coyle and Logan Boone. Coyle went 6-for-13 to rack up 17 points and seven rebounds, while Boone posted ten points in addition to six assists and four steals. Boone has been hot, having posted three or more steals the last five times he's played. Another player making a difference was Nick Watterson, who earned 11 points and seven boards.

Union County is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-11 record this season. Randolph Southern's loss was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-15.

Union County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 75-38 defeat against Milan on the 28th. As for Randolph Southern, they have also already played their next contest, a 63-55 victory against Knightstown on the 26th.
