Baseball Recap: Seton Catholic Comes Up Short

After flying high against Anderson Prep Academy on Tuesday, Seton Catholic came back down to earth. The Cardinals came up short against the Cambridge City Lincoln Golden Eagles on Wednesday, falling 10-0. The match marked the first time this year in which the Cardinals were not able to get on the board.

Seton Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Cambridge City Lincoln, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-4.

Looking ahead, Seton Catholic will head out on the road to square off against Cowan at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Cambridge City Lincoln, they will welcome Anderson at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Golden Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Indians have averaged an impressive 8 runs per game this season.
