Soccer Recap: North Garland Comes Up Short

North Garland lost against Wylie East back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. North Garland lost 10-0 to Wylie East. While losing is never fun, North Garland can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 355th, while Wylie East is ranked 29th).

North Garland has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season. The win made it two in a row for Wylie East and bumps their season record up to 11-1.

North Garland wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 9-0 victory against Lakeview Centennial on the 22nd. As for Wylie East, they will face off against Sachse at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Sachse's favor is that they have posted at least four goals in their last six games.
