Baseball Recap: St. Cloud Makes It Eight in a Row at Home

St. Cloud came tearing into Tuesday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Hopkins Hilltoppers 11-2. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by nine runs or more this season.

Logan King looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Josh Bejarano, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Aiden Pegauro, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

St. Cloud's win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-4.

Coming up, St. Cloud will host Varsity Opponent at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Hopkins, they will head out to square off against Greens Farms Academy at 4:30 p.m. on March 26th.
