Basketball Game Preview: Bryan Vikings vs. Killeen Kangaroos

The Bryan Vikings will venture away from home to square off against the Killeen Kangaroos at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bryan has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Last Friday, Bryan came up short against Harker Heights and fell 72-63. The Vikings haven't had much luck with the Knights recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Meanwhile, Killeen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They fell 64-51 to Shoemaker. While losing is never fun, the Kangaroos can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 755th, while the Wolves are ranked 218th).

Bryan's loss dropped their record down to 18-9. As for Killeen, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-24.

Bryan strolled past Killeen in their previous matchup on January 3rd by a score of 57-43. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bryan since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
