Softball Recap: Gadsden City Takes a Loss

Gadsden City and Fort Payne squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Gadsden City had to settle for second. They lost 14-3 to the Wildcats. The loss continues a trend for the Titans in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost five in a row.

Gadsden City's defeat dropped their record down to 10-25. As for Fort Payne, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-15.

Coming up, Gadsden City will challenge Southside at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Titans surely won't give up without a fight. Fort Payne does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
