Glen Cove made the biggest jump in the national rankings, moving from 404 to 339 thanks to a 1-0 record over the past week.

Behind a 1-0 record over the past week, the Big Red made the biggest jump in the state rankings, all the way from 404 to 339.

West Hempstead's pitching staff dominated this week, allowing only 21 hits and 18 walks, both of which led the league. The Rams have given up a mere 113 hits on the year in addition to compiling 76 strikeouts. Brandon Sherman is the leader in that category with 43 Ks on the season.

West Hempstead had trouble finding a groove at the plate as a team this week, racking up a league-leading 41 strikeouts. The Rams have struggled at the plate this season, leading the league with 41 strikeouts.

West Hempstead's Brandon Ruiz finished his week with eight hits, tops in the league. On the season, he's hitting .473 and ranks first in the league with 26 hits.
